OEM - Surgical Powered Instruments

We develop powered surgical hand instruments and the associated control units. One example of a product manufactured for a customer is the surgical handpiece and control unit for minimally invasive surgery. Devices that efficiently remove and aspirate tissue and bone from the knee, shoulder, hip and small joints. They must be able to be used in arthroscopy, ENT, gynecology and urology. We offer complete systems consisting of a motor console and handpiece, or parts thereof. The motor console controls motors of various types with maximum efficiency. This ensures smooth operation with extremely quiet running and minimal heating. The console is operated via touchscreen or a wireless foot pedal. Connected to a network, it can communicate with several devices, transmit data securely to the hospital network and receive software updates. The handpiece enables various operating modes such as shaver or high-speed milling. The customer also benefits from a weight-optimized and ergonomic design. The handpiece is designed in such a way that it is always compatible with all medical reprocessing procedures. Our services We develop, verify, industrialize and assemble. We also assist our customers with the testing and approval of their products and we maintain them. Of course, our service is also available at all times. They receive our tested products in quantities of several thousand per year. The products meet all FDA requirements as well as the IEC 62304 and IEC 60601 standards.
