The standard DIRP function performs scanning in the range from 80,000 Hz to 580,000 Hz. Based on many years of experience, scanning below 80,000 Hz does not give valid results. If necessary, the lower and upper limits may be extended. The instrument calculates stepping by dividing the array of frequencies between the boundaries into 500 equal steps.
