RxBot Automated Robotic Compounding Machine

The RxBot Automated Compounding System is a modular system that includes a robotic module for preparing and filling hazardous and non-hazardous drugs. The system is controlled by operator software running on RxHub, which provides a user-friendly interface for inputting order and drug information, initiating drug transfers, and printing labels. Additionally, the system allows pharmacists to remotely create orders using a pharmacist tablet PC running application software. For customer convenience, Epic Medical offers the pharmacist tablet PC, and label printer for purchase. The system is designed to be used exclusively with RxBot disposable items, which are rigorously tested together to ensure accuracy. Patient orders and drug information can be entered into the system for traceability purposes.
