CELOX PPH

CELOX PPH is a uterine haemostatic tamponade designed to manage postpartum haemorrhage rapidly and effectively. It works through a unique mode of action that involves the use of chitosan, a natural biopolymer. When CELOX™ PPH comes into contact with blood, it quickly forms a gel-like clot that adheres to the site of bleeding, sealing it off and stopping the bleeding within minutes. Unlike other haemostatic agents that rely on the body's natural clotting mechanisms, CELOX™ PPH works independently of the patient's clotting factors. This makes it an effective and ideal solution for patients with large haemorrhage, clotting disorders or those on anticoagulant therapy.
