Therasorb: Polyurethane Foam dressing (Adhesive / Non-adhesive)
Wound Care
Information
Therasorb Polyurethane Foam dressings combine the advantages of moist environment foam dressing and alginate dressing for faster wound healing without the formation of scabs.
Soft, breathable foam maintains an ideal humid environment for wound healing and cushions the wound for protection.
Alginate facilitates hemostasis, aids absorption, and forms a protective barrier.
It is easily removed, it does not damage newly formed granulation during removal, hence reduces the healing time and pain.
Applications : Burns, ulcers, bedsores, surgical wounds, donor sites, diabetic foot
Product line
1) Therasorb Algiplus Hydrophilic / Adhesive dressing
Alginate ingredient, when mixed(interacted) with blood in the wound, forms alginate-blood gel and exchange ions with exudation in the wound, thereby producing an effect of stopping bleeding.
2) Therasorb AD (Foam dressing with silicone adhesive)
Therasorb AD is coated with silicone adhesive which is a lot of holes on top of polyurethane foam dressing, allowing for self-driven adhesion. Thus secondary dressing is not needed for fixation.
3) Therasorb Net
Porous film on wound contact layer does not leave residue on wound site during dressing replacement, and does not cause pain during replacement.
Porous film minimizes expansion, allowing for excellent retention of exudate, leading to optimized humidity.
4) Therasorb Border (Foam dressing with silicone border)
Border type self-adhesive dressing material having three-layer structure of polyurethane film, polyurethane foam, and silicone adhesive film.
5) Thersorb Ag Plus (Foam dressing with silver ingredient)
Polyurethane foam dressing containing silver for anti-bacterial action.
Activated carbon contained in polyurethane foam has deodorizing properties.
