Image Viewing: Users can scroll through series images using the mouse wheel, dragging vertically, or using keyboard shortcuts. This enables easy navigation and examination of the medical images.
Measurement Tools: FireView allows marking the area of interest with a polyline and measuring its surface. This feature aids in analyzing and quantifying specific regions or structures within the medical images.
Cine Mode Playback: The software supports cine mode playback of multi-frame sequences, including video search capabilities. This feature is particularly useful for reviewing dynamic imaging studies such as cardiac or vascular studies.
Calibration Line: FireView provides the option to change the measurement scale using a calibration line, ensuring accurate measurements and comparisons.
Advanced Features: FireView includes advanced features such as PET-CT fusion, which combines PET and CT image series to visualize the correlation between radioactive drug concentrations and the patient's anatomical structure. It also offers multiplanar reconstruction with coronal or sagittal projections and represents the intersection plans of selected points on the main study.
Reporting and Sharing: Users can write reports for studies, print active images, and anonymize and share studies via the DICOM library. This facilitates collaboration among healthcare professionals and ensures efficient communication of findings.
