Information
SurgiNovi’s in-house software provides opportunity for surgeons to ‘virtually’ rehearse complex operations. Three-dimensional (3D) images are created from the patient’s clinical data. These electronic files can be sent via e-mail, enabling the clinician to visualise and manipulate a digital representation of the anatomy before surgery. Furthermore, these files can be digitally manufactured, producing 3D anatomical models, allowing the clinician to better understand the physical dimensions and constraints. Clients report that this is especially valuable in complex cases and have been used in surgeries including partial knee replacement, primary shoulder replacement, primary reverse shoulder replacement, revision shoulder replacement, orthopaedics osteotomies and bone tumours.
These guides are design by our bio-engineers, using the patient’s recent clinical scans – in collaboration with the surgeon, to achieve perfect anatomical dimensions and contours. This careful and considered approach maximises the performance of our spacers. These components are then digitally manufactured in our laboratory, before being shipped to the hospital.
