Hospital disinfection
Hygiene
Information
Where are our UVC flash disinfection systems used in hospitals?
In the emergency department
In the emergency boxes: where the patient is taken to establish a first diagnosis and then directed to the appropriate department.
In the defibrillation room: there are usually several patients under observation in this room and in case of suspected contamination, it is necessary to remove all of them and disinfect the whole place.
In the radiology department.
When a patient is suspected to be contaminated, the scanner room must be disinfected. This takes time and the scanner cannot afford to be out of order.
In the patient’s room.
After a "standard" cleaning and disinfection of the upper surfaces, 5 minutes are sufficient to complete UVC disinfection within a few minutes. Unlike hydrogen peroxide, it is possible to enter the room directly without having to ventilate.
In the laboratory
To avoid cross-contamination, especially during PCR production.
In stomatology and dentistry
Dentists are the most exposed to the risk of airborne contamination, due to the aerosols they produce during their interventions.
In biotechnology.
When equipment and respirators, for example, leave the rooms to be cleaned and disinfected, a first pass under UVC makes it possible to reduce the bacteriological load. The personnel assigned to this department can then work in better conditions, cleaning and disinfecting manually before reprocessing the equipment in the UVC to complete the process.
In ambulances
Surface and air disinfection in 5-6 minutes. Can be used immediately after treatment without ventilation.
For meeting rooms
Between two meetings (20m² in 5 minutes)
For HVAC
Treatment of all the air passing thru the HVAC
