The Long term Hemodialysis catheter is indicated for use in attaining Long-Term vascular access for hemodialysis and apheresis in the adult population. It may be inserted percutaneously and is primarily placed in the internal jugular vein. Alternate insertion sites include the subclavian vein and inferior vena cava as required. *Smooth tube surface reduce the adhesion of platelets and minimize the risk of thrombosis. *Available in straight and pre-curved designs to accommodate patient need and comfort. *Enhanced polyester CUFF to secure the catheter and reduce the rate of infection. *The polyurethane is thermosensitive which can be soften after insertion. *Large side holes and double D profile design to provide greater flow rates at lower pressure and minimize the risk of clotting.
