Information
Satisfying the need to minimize or obsolete liquid nitrogen infrastructure, MVE created the MVE Fusion Freezer, the world’s first self-sustaining cryogenic freezer. The MVE Fusion is a refrigerated liquid-based bio-storage freezer, similar in appearance and construction to an MVE High-Efficiency LN2 freezer. The design of the MVE Fusion is to provide cold storage capabilities, with no need for a regular ongoing liquid nitrogen supply source. The MVE Fusion can be used in remote locations, isolated rooms, high-elevation facilities, and facilities with little or no vacuum-jacketed pipe infrastructures. The MVE Fusion does not require a constant LN2 supply.
Thanks to our innovative Qdrive cryo-cooler technology, there’s no need for a regular ongoing liquid nitrogen supply or a connection to an external source. So, you could be in a remote location, an isolated room, or a high-elevation facility – and this self-sustaining cryogenic freezer will keep your samples safe. The Fusion eliminates the infrastructure associated with bulk tanks and vacuum-jacketed piping. It minimizes lab intrusion caused by LN2 dewar resupply. This is cryogenics with certainty.
