Disposable infusion set

Disposable infusion set is also one of regular products in our factory. It consists of closure piercing device, fluid channel, drip chamber, tube, flow regular and some other parts. Take this model as an example, let’s start the brief introduction to infusion set. Here is the closure piercing device, it can be inserted into the container. Due to its sharp object, we prepare a protective cap to avoid accident injury. It is made of medical class ABS. In this model, there is an integral air inlet with air filter and closure. If you don’t open the air inlet, then the fluid will not drop down. And if you open it, the fluid will drop down with the speed of 20drops/milliliter. There is an air filter which helps to prevent the ingress of microorganisms into the container. Then, this is the drip chamber, and it is made of medical grade PVC. The drip chamber shall permit continuous observation of the fall of drops. The liquid shall enter the drip chamber through fluid channel which is a tube that projects into the chamber like this. The drip chamber should better be elastic, and the barrel of it should not be so thin, or it may be shrink during transportation, and will be hard to recover from this condition. Look at our chamber, when I press the barrel, it is very quick to recover. And there is a fluid filter at the bottle of drip chamber, but the position of it can be at other sites, preferably near the patient access. It helps to prevent latex particles, and retention of latex particles on the filter can be more than 80%. The tubing is also made of PVC, which is transparent enough for users to see the interface and water during the passage of air bubbles. We provide the length of 1.6m, 1.5m, and you can choose any length, including the injection site, when provided, and the male conical fitting.
