The unique design of the MediVena's safety needle ensures full needle shielding: before, during and after use, minimal dead space to prevent formulation loss and protect medical personnel throughout the use (from unpacking to disposal). In order to achieve the planned functionalities of the final product it will also be necessary to develop and demonstrate in parallel in the target system (validation in real conditions) the process innovation in the form of a dedicated manufacturing technology of a universal and fully technology based on new, original technological solutions, tools and procedures that have not been used so far.
