As a family-owned and operated business, Erbe develops, manufactures, and markets systems for professional use in various medical disciplines all over the world.
Since the company's foundation, Erbe has continuously reshaped and adapted its business to an ever-changing reality in several key disciplines such as gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, bronchoscopy, and urology. The portfolio comprises devices and instruments for electrosurgery, thermofusion, plasma surgery, cryosurgery, hydrosurgery and imaging.
Over the last ten years, the sales increased by 75% and showed 85% growth of headcount that led to around 1700 employees worldwide.
Today, the international group of companies with sales and service units as well as supply and productions units worldwide. In more than 110 countries, and with 18 sales and service units and the international distributor network.
Approx. 260 employees work in research and development. The intensive collaboration with renowned users from medical schools and hospitals is the key to success with which Erbe successfully furthers developments in medicine.
